Our Favorite Bahamas Beaches

    Randy Hondros here again. I've thoroughly read your blog relating to your Bimini, Great Harbor, Nassau, Exumas, Eleuthera, and Abacos trip. We went to Abacos last year for 4 months through West End. Am interested in taking Loon (32 GB) along same route you followe

    1. Randy, Should be no problem at all. Of course you will want to watch the weather, on the open water passages and while your in the islands. So be sure you have a reliable source to get the latest and the right equipment. Have a great time and stay safe.

    2. That's what I thought. What weather sources do you have most confidence in. I've used a combination of Buoyweather, NOAA, SailFlow, and Sirius Weather service.

    3. Randy, We use PassageWeather, Windfinder, National Data Buoy Center, Windguru, Weatherunderground, zyGrib, and NWS weatherfax.
